First Show Of the New Year: Voice of Good Hope

Happy New Year, Beautiful People!

You read that title right! I have been rehearsing since November 2018 for my current show entitled VOICE OF GOOD HOPE by Kristine Thatcher. The story focuses on Barbara Jordan, the first Black woman in the Texas Senate and the first Black woman elected from the deep south to the United States Congress. I'm playing Julie Dunn, a (fictional) former student of Jordan's running for her first U.S. Congressional seat who desperately needs Jordan to make a statement in support of her campaign.
